We built the replacement in under ten days.
July 2025
Khoros and one social vendor negotiated to extend API access and no commercially reasonable terms emerged. Social listening and publishing on this platform was about to go dark for every Khoros Care and SMM customer.
Not a prototype. Iris shipped to production with full listening and full posting. Customers kept operating without interruption, and we gave it to them at no cost.
That fire drill settled an internal argument. If an AI-native team could build and ship that fast under real pressure, there was no reason to keep patching legacy code on a quarterly cadence. So we merged our latest version releases of Care and SMM into a single platform called Iris® AI.

What we're not claiming.
We’re not claiming to ship more features per year than anyone else. Shipping fast still means everyone gets the same thing on the same day. That’s a faster roadmap. It’s still a roadmap.
We’re claiming something narrower and harder: the software you run was built for you.
Judge us during the evaluation.
If you’re running a formal vendor evaluation right now, you’re comparing feature checklists. That’s reasonable due diligence. We’d argue it’s the wrong test.
Here’s the test we’d rather take. Give us the requirement your team has wanted for years — the one everyone agreed was interesting and that never showed up in a release. Then watch what we do with it while you’re still evaluating.
We’ll prototype against it. We’ll refine it with your people. Your feedback goes into the build, not into a queue. Then we ship it to a working environment.
